Thanks to Everyone at IASA 2014 for a Great Show

FNTI is excited to report that the 2014 IASA Annual Educational Conference and Business Show was a great success! Many thanks to everyone who participated in our GoPro HD Hero3 contest, and who stopped by the booth for a visit to see ETran in action.

This annual event is organized by IASA (the Insurance Accounting & Systems Association), a non-profit educational association, focused on growing the knowledge of insurance professionals and those in related fields. The conference drew professionals from all over the United States, offering the opportunity to gain cutting-edge industry knowledge, network, and connect with others in the industry.

The business show, workshops, and technical sessions were all fantastic – offering insight into trending topics, upcoming technologies, and relevant industry developments.

Event highlights and important announcements.

Highlights included a speech given by keynote speaker and former President Bill Clinton, in which Mr. Clinton shared his insightful opinions on healthcare reform, and the future of insurance. He emphasized the importance of industry cooperation, saying “Insurance… is going to be critical to the next twenty years of life,” and “We have to decide whether we’re going to share the future, or fight over it.” He also noted the need to widen the circle of opportunity, and minimize risk.

Several companies made relevant announcements in line with Mr. Clinton’s emphasis of the need for innovation and collaboration:

  • Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) announced that TCS BaNCS for Insurance will leverage ISO Electronic Rating Content (ERC) information (allowing carriers to leapfrog the digital divide through analytics)
  • BOLT Solutions (provider of an omni-channel platform used by those in the P&C insurance industry) announced new partnerships with both e2Value (the leading provider of web-based property valuation solutions) and DocuSign (the leading electronic signature solution). Integration of e2Value and DocuSign solutions with BOLT software are intended to help insurance agents and brokers increase their efficiency, improve security, and streamline consumer interactions.
  • Xuber demonstrated their configurable core processing solutions, their data migration tool, and their plug-and-play data analysis tool. According to Craig Robinson, Head of Business Development, North America, Xuber’s theme Xuber’s theme—Tomorrow’s insurance software – Today— “highlights our cutting-edge technology as well as our goal to continually improve our solutions to meet customers’ needs, and we’re excited to share the latest developments with attendees at this year’s conference.”

FTNI received a great response to our demos of ETran, our user-friendly, cloud-based payments platform solution. ETran is a single-platform accounts receivables solution that streamlines the receivable process from end to end.  It allows users to accept all payment types (check, money order, ACH, credit, debit, and now mobile payments) whether those payments are made in person, over the phone, or via the internet.

Those attending the demonstration were excited to explore this user-friendly, sophisticated, and powerful solution, and to learn how it might help them simplify accounts receivables processing and payment management.

FTNI’s GoPro HD Giveaway

Along with demonstrating ETran for IASA attendees, FTNI also offered all conference attendees the chance to win a GoPro HD Hero3 – just in time to capture their summer adventures! The grand prize winner will be notified the week of June 16th.
