OMAHA – Financial Transmission Network, Inc. (FTNI) has added the ability for merchants to process ACH payments through its proprietary payment platform allowing the user now two ways to accept payments from consumers. This new functionality, which was developed at the request of customers, allows both single ACH and recurring ACH payments to be processed through FTNI’s proprietary platform and compliments the existing check scanning capabilities.
The platform, designed using Microsoft .NET environment, will allow the business owner to bank deposits without ever leaving their desks. Etran is a remote data and check image capture system, consisting of a desktop check scanner, that allows users to prepare electronic deposits from their desk to be sent to the bank of their choice. Deposited check data can be uploaded into most accounting systems, and images can be archived at FTNI’s secure data facility. With today’s announcement the system will also now support ACH processing.
Kurt Matis, FTNI President said, “With the addition of ACH processing, an already robust platform has now moved to a new level. FTNI continues to listen to the needs of its customers and then provide them solutions that exceed client expectations.”
