Financial Transmission Network, Inc. (FTNI), a provider of customized and scalable electronic payment platforms for business, today announced the appointment of three new members to its Board of Directors. Mr. William E. Fisher, Mr. Greg T. Sloma and Mr. Wayne Kehrli, join the Board as directors. Mr. Fisher has also been named the Chairman of the Board.

William E. Fisher is an experienced investor, senior executive and public board member. He currently is the co-founder of Sojern, Inc., a digital and print advertising company in partnership with the major US airlines. Prior to this, he most recently served on the board of West, Inc., a multi-billion dollar communication services company (WTSC: NASDAQ) that was sold to TH Lee in late 2006. He is an experienced public company director having served on the public boards of Bank of America’s Merchant Processing Business (BAMSI: NASDAQ) prior to it being acquired by its parent; Trizetto, a leading health care IT provider (TZIX: NASDAQ) that was taken private in a transaction early in 2009; Hypercom, Inc., a leading provider of point of sale technology worldwide (HYC: NYSE); and Transaction Systems Architects, Inc. (TSAI; ACIW: NASDAQ) a leading provider of software payment technology. Mr. Fisher was the founder of TSAI. Prior to founding TSAI, Mr. Fisher was employed by First Data Resources in a number of roles including President of their Government Services division. Mr. Fisher has served as an initial investor and board member for Income Dynamics, Inc., a tax technology provider which was sold to Intuit, Inc. (INTU: NASDAQ) and as the Chairman of Planet Consulting, Inc., a technology solutions provider that was sold to CSG Systems, Inc., a worldwide provider of billing systems (CSGS: NASDAQ). He is the Chairman of SJE Holdings, Inc., a franchisor and owner of premium coffee stores (Scooters Coffee) and also a member of the management committee of Prism Technologies, LLC, a technology patent company. He is a former director of Solutionary, Inc. a technology security firm. Mr. Fisher holds a BS in Management from Indiana State University and an MBA from the University of Nebraska.
Mr. Sloma is currently the President of G.O., Inc., a privately held real estate company. From January 2004 through January 2006, he was the President and CFO for SpeedNet Services, Inc., a privately held Wireless Internet Provider. Prior to SpeedNet, Mr. Sloma held various positions at DTN, a publicly traded electronic information company. During his ten plus years at DTN, his positions included Vice Chairman, Director of Mergers and Acquisitions, Chief Executive Officer, President and Chief Financial Officer. Prior to joining DTN in April of 1993, Mr. Sloma spent 17 years at Deloitte & Touche, specializing in tax consulting. He started with Deloitte in 1976 and became Partner in charge of Tax, Omaha office, in 1983. Mr. Sloma also served on the board of West Corporation prior to it being purchased in the fall of 2006. He is currently on the board of Transgenomic, Inc. (TBIO: NASDAQ). Mr. Sloma received his J.D. degree, cum laude, in Business and Tax Law from the University of Nebraska in 1976, and a B.S.B.A. degree, cum laude, in Accounting from Creighton University in 1973. He is a CPA.
Mr. Kehrli has recently retired after forty years of service in the commercial banking industry. Prior to his retirement, Mr. Kehrli was a regional President with Mutual of Omaha Bank following its acquisition of Nebraska State Bank in 2007. Prior to its acquisition, Mr. Kehrli held the position of Chairman of the Board, Owner and Chief Executive Officer of the Nebraska State Bank in Omaha, Nebraska for twenty five years. Prior to Nebraska State Bank, Mr. Kehrli served in an executive officer capacity with two other community banks in Nebraska. Mr. Kehrli has also served on many boards during his career. Mr. Kehrli graduated cum laude from Wayne State College in Wayne, Nebraska in 1968.
