OMAHA – FTNI’s partner and reseller, Piracle, has added its client Ypsilanti Community Utilities Authority (YCUA) to its RapidRemit product. RapidRemit, is a robust check scanning, ACH & credit card platform that is deployed on a single interface in a software-as-a-service environment. It is powered by FTNI’s Etran platform. YCUA services 20,000 homes in the City of Ypsilanti, MI and surrounding townships.
RapidRemit will allow Ypsilanti to scan in payment coupons with each check received, match the payment to the consumer’s YCUA account number and post the payment automatically to the accounts receivable system. The Etran platform also adds the ability for YCUA to enter ACH or credit card payments. This functionality increases efficiencies and decreases errors.
FTNI’s president said, “The functionality designed into the Etran system is a perfect fit for the utilities industry.”
FTNI and Piracle have agreed to roll out the Etran solution to all of Piracle’s customers.
