SALT LAKE CITY -- Piracle Inc., makers of Create-A-Check and Paycentrex suite of payment management software, today announced an agreement with Financial Transmission Network, Inc. to deliver remote deposit capture to its clients. Piracle will market the product as RapidRemit, which is powered by FTNI’s underlying ETran technology.

The product will allow Piracle’s customers to bank deposits without ever leaving their desks. RapidRemit is a remote data and check image capture system, consisting of a desktop check scanner, that allows users to prepare electronic deposits from their desk to be sent to the bank of their choice. Deposited check data can be uploaded into most accounting systems, and images can be archived at RapidRemit's website or downloaded to the user's database. In addition, the system supports ACH and credit card processing.
