OMAHA, NE. - Financial Transmission Network, Inc. (FTNI), a leading provider of electronic payment technology solutions, today announced that ETran, FTNI’s merchant ePayment platform has been successfully deployed by Professional Veterinary Products, Ltd., (PVP), an industry leading animal health products distributor.

PVP reports that they have already seen substantial savings in a variety of areas. By being able to easily match outstanding invoices to incoming payments, the posting of A/R activity has been greatly simplified. Converting paper checks to check images has provided PVP with faster access to those funds. Also, credit card processing costs have been reduced by taking advantage of acquiring rates available through the ETran solution. Finally, by deploying a payment portal, through which checks can be scanned, ACH transactions can be processed and credit and debit card transactions can be initiated, PVP has generated operational savings and customer service benefits throughout the organization.

FTNI is a technology company that offers an ePayments platform in a Software as a Service environment. The solution converts checks to images for clearing, initiates ACH payments and processes credit and debit card transactions, all from a single thin client terminal. Customer transactions can arrive through the mail, over the phone, in person or through an FTNI provided website. Financial institutions use eTran to gain deposit base and process deposits more efficiently. Merchants gain access to funds more quickly, reduce operational costs and eliminate the need to manually update their Receivables.
