UNIT4 CODA clients will have an opportunity to consolidate all of their check, single and reoccurring ACH and credit card payments, cash posting and web payment on the ETran Receivables Platform.

OMAHA, NE. – December 6, 2011 - Financial Transmission Network Inc. (“FTNI”), a provider of the industry leading receivables management solution, today announced the availability of a Cash Processing module within its award winning ETran Receivables Management platform. ETran is well known for its ability to support Check21, ACH and credit card processing. This latest enhancement now allows merchants to reconcile all receipts, regardless of the payment type or the channel through which it arrived.

ETran is well known as a cloud-based PCI-compliant receivables management solution that utilizes an easy one-click install and requires no ongoing software maintenance by the user. It now becomes particularly attractive to those market verticals that want to log all payment activity. Already built to handle mailed-in, walked-in, called-in and web remittances, adding cash processing to the other payment methods further extends ETran’s lead in the market. As is often the case with ETran, this suggested enhancement came from a prospect, in this case a Top 10 Non-Profit. As with other maintenance funded enhancements, this new functionality will become available to all ETran users at no additional cost to them.

Among the first to focus not only on processing payments but also posting those remittances into the merchant’s Back Office system, similar functionality is now extended to ETran’s cash processing. In the same way that ETran associates check payments with remittance coupons, cash payments can now also be associated with invoices and customers. Alternatively, since ETran can easily host all open invoices, walked-in payments can be credited to an account and to a customer, even without a remittance coupon. Posting to a single invoice or splitting a cash remittance among several invoices is easily done. Since multiple bank settlement accounts have long been supported, the cash payment can be associated with the bank and account into which it will be deposited.

ETran’s SaaS-based platform is easy to deploy and also easily integrated into existing legacy applications. From its inception, ETran has maintained a bank, credit card processor and check scanner agnostic approach. With a growing presence in industry verticals such as insurance, non-profit and fulfillment, addressing all payment methods provides yet another strategic advantage. In addition, with ETran’s extensive reporting capabilities, reconciliation times can be greatly reduced, thereby providing even greater efficiencies.

“Cash remains a popular method of payment. By extending the industry leading functionality of ETran, into the cash space, we have provided yet another opportunity for our customers to consolidate their remittance processing” says Kurt Matis, President and CEO of FTNI. Mr. Matis goes on to say “Matching the Cash Processing enhancement with ETran’s remittance posting and email receipt functionality, is just another example of our ongoing focus on streamlining that processing.”

OMAHA, NE. – November 29, 2011 - Financial Transmission Network Inc. Project validates the “speed to market” capabilities of FTNI’s ETran SaaS solution

OMAHA, NE. – November 29, 2011 - Financial Transmission Network Inc. (“FTNI”), a provider of industry leading receivable management solutions, today announced that has completed the conversion of all KV Vet Supply Inc. (d.b.a. KV Supply) credit card payments to its award winning ETran Receivables Management platform.

KV Supply, a leading supplier of pet and equine supplies to consumers and veterinary clinics throughout the US, continues to search for better ways to serve its growing customer base. Well known for carrying over 16,000 products, KV Supply works hard to maintain its Better Business Bureau’s A+ rating while it serves its customers primarily through its catalog and ecommerce channels. Faced with many of the issues of a specialty fulfillment house, KV Supply focuses on maintaining a large product inventory, the prompt shipping of orders and a strong customer service approach.

When KV Supply approached FTNI, they were faced with a unique situation. They had recently been alerted that their existing payment processing application was quickly being moved to an unsupported status. While finding an alternative payment processing provider wouldn’t be too difficult, their needs went beyond simply authorizing credit card payments. KV Supply needed the new application to also integrate with a legacy inventory and billing system. They also needed the ability, on partial shipments, to match the payment amount to the shipment and suspend payment on other items until they were available for shipment.

What KV Supply didn’t know, was that this situation fits nicely into FTNI’s “sweet spot” for payment processing and posting. Less than 30 days elapsed between the first conversation between the two companies and KV Supply’s first production use of ETran. FTNI was able to support and integrate into a newly developed KV Supply website, maintain PCI-compliance within the integrated solution, make payment processing available to both website customers and KV Supply’s own customer service staff. All of this was being done while the payments were authorized and all payment activity was made available for posting into KV Supply’s Accounts Receivable System.

KV Supply is now well positioned for future website, inventory control and billing system upgrades, knowing the integration with their payments processing will be seamless.

”FTNI worked very hard under pressure” said Tracie Lloyd, General Manager, KV Supply. “Coming up with a solution to a difficult problem on a tight deadline is not easy. FTNI did a great job and continues to provide excellent customer service.”

“The KV Supply project once again demonstrated the flexibility of the ETran Receivables Management solution” says Kurt Matis, President and CEO of FTNI. Mr. Matis goes on to say “By using ETran’s I-Frame and message tokenization technologies, KV Supply was able to implement a secure, integrated, state-of-the-art solution in the timeframe usually considered for package solutions.”

OMAHA, NE. – November 8, 2011 - Independence Bank, headquartered in East Greenwich, Rhode Island announced today that it has on-boarded its 100th customer using FTNI’s ETran Receivables Management Platform. Independence Bank was an early leader in offering Remote Deposit Capture (RDC) services to its clients, having brought on its first customer in 2004 under its Cool Deposit brand. Today, it provides RDC, ACH and credit card services to over 100 merchant customers in a variety of verticals including the medical billing, energy, legal and healthcare industries.

Danielle Desrosiers, COO of Independence Bank states: “As we continue to grow our customer base outside of our normal geographic footprint, including markets such as New York and Florida, we need a solution that is easy to deploy, easy to support and most importantly, easy to use for our end merchant clients. FTNI’s ETran provides all of these features and more.

While FTNI’s ETran solution began as strictly an RDC solution, FTNI quickly added the capacity to initiate single and recurring ACH transactions as well as single and recurring card present or card not present credit card transactions. A Cash processing module will be available later this month. At the request of Independence Bank and other FTNI customers, ETran was also enhanced with the addition of its Proactive Payment Monitor. This feature lets the bank establish thresholds, by each payment type, for each of its merchant customers. If those thresholds are exceeded, all merchant deposits for the entire day are suspended until bank staff that monitor deposits, speak with the merchant and remove the hold.

“The strong success Independence Bank has experienced in growing their RDC client base helps reinforce the acceptance of the flexibility, breadth and ease of use of our SaaS-based ETran platform”, says Kurt Matis, President and CEO of FTNI. Mr. Matis goes on to say “This is another strong indicator that businesses are looking for a single platform that can easily be customized to their unique business environment, in order to streamline their receivables processing operation.”

FTNI’s ETran platform which incorporates check scanning, ACH processing and credit card processing on a single, PCI-compliant managed platform (“SaaS”) to help clients reduce costs, accelerate timelines and improve transaction processing quality. Since the web payment technology is incorporated and delivered seamlessly within FTNI’s SaaS-based ETran platform, merchants are able to manage all of their incoming payments on a single platform. This enhancement also makes ETran’s recurring payment functionality, for both ACH and credit cards and for both fixed and variable amounts, available to a wider audience.

About Independence Bank

Independence Bank is an independent community bank located and headquartered in East Greenwich, Rhode Island. It was established by a group of successful business people who saw the need for a uniquely personal banking relationship tailored to a growing group of customers, in the West Bay area of Rhode Island.

OMAHA, NE. – September 28, 2011 - Financial Transmission Network Inc. (“FTNI”), a provider of industry leading payment solutions, today announced that it has enhanced its remote deposit capture user interfaces to allow resellers to have a single solution that can be offered to their corporate clients of all sizes. OMAHA, NE. – September 28, 2011 - Financial Transmission Network Inc. (“FTNI”), a provider of industry leading payment solutions, today announced that it has enhanced its remote deposit capture user interfaces to allow resellers to have a single solution that can be offered to their corporate clients of all sizes. In addition to the "Full” user interface on FTNI’s award-winning ETran platform, bank resellers now have access to a “Lite” and “Lite Plus” version which greatly expands the number of clients that can be supported.

This enhancement makes it much easier for banks and resellers to support a single technology platform regardless of the complexity of the business needs. For small businesses not needing remittance scanning or a great deal of back-office integration, banks and resellers can offer their clients ETran’s “Lite” or “Lite Plus” user interface which provides simple, yet powerful RDC capabilities. For clients utilizing remittance advice or coupons; those requiring multi-bank account capabilities; or those needing flexible, customizable fields for pulling data and posting into back-office accounting/CRM solutions, banks can offer the “Full” user interface of ETran. Administrators of ETran can simply change a configuration switch in order to alter the user interface.

Regardless of the interface, all transactions can still be monitored through ETran built-in risk and fraud module, Proactive Payment Monitor. In addition, all transactions can be managed through ETran’s Queue’s Module, along with ACH and credit card transactions.

This is the latest enhancement to FTNI’s ETran platform which incorporates check scanning, ACH processing, credit card processing and cash posting, on a single, PCI-compliant managed platform (“SaaS”) to help clients reduce costs, accelerate timelines and improve transaction processing quality.

Doug Fisher, EVP of Software Solutions, commented, "Banks and other resellers are continually looking for ways to reduce the number of vendors and subsequently software solutions that they need to learn, deploy and support. The enhancement to ETran’s RDC User Interfaces allows our partners to have a single solution that can support all their corporate clients, from small businesses to large corporate accounts. This not only reduces operational costs, but also provides a solution targeted specifically for the corporate client’s needs.”
