Enhanced RDC User Interfaces | FTNI

Offering Resellers the ability to take a single solution to clients of varying size and complexity

OMAHA, NE. – September 28, 2011 – Financial Transmission Network Inc. (“FTNI”), a provider of industry leading payment solutions, today announced that it has enhanced its remote deposit capture user interfaces to allow resellers to have a single solution that can be offered to their corporate clients of all sizes. In addition to the “Full” user interface on FTNI’s award-winning ETran platform, bank resellers now have access to a “Lite” and “Lite Plus” version which greatly expands the number of clients that can be supported.

This enhancement makes it much easier for banks and resellers to support a single technology platform regardless of the complexity of the business needs. For small businesses not needing remittance scanning or a great deal of back-office integration, banks and resellers can offer their clients ETran’s “Lite” or “Lite Plus” user interface which provides simple, yet powerful RDC capabilities. For clients utilizing remittance advice or coupons; those requiring multi-bank account capabilities; or those needing flexible, customizable fields for pulling data and posting into back-office accounting/CRM solutions, banks can offer the “Full” user interface of ETran. Administrators of ETran can simply change a configuration switch in order to alter the user interface.

Regardless of the interface, all transactions can still be monitored through ETran built-in risk and fraud module, Proactive Payment Monitor. In addition, all transactions can be managed through ETran’s Queue’s Module, along with ACH and credit card transactions.

This is the latest enhancement to FTNI’s ETran platform which incorporates check scanning, ACH processing, credit card processing and cash posting, on a single, PCI-compliant managed platform (“SaaS”) to help clients reduce costs, accelerate timelines and improve transaction processing quality. Since the web payment technology is incorporated and delivered seamlessly within FTNI’s SaaS-based ETran platform, merchants are able to manage all of their incoming payments on a single platform. This enhancement also makes ETran’s recurring payment functionality, for both ACH and credit cards and for both fixed and variable amounts, available to a wider audience.

Doug Fisher, EVP of Software Solutions, commented, “Banks and other resellers are continually looking for ways to reduce the number of vendors and subsequently software solutions that they need to learn, deploy and support. The enhancement to ETran’s RDC User Interfaces allows our partners to have a single solution that can support all their corporate clients, from small businesses to large corporate accounts. This not only reduces operational costs, but also provides a solution targeted specifically for the corporate client’s needs.”
