OMAHA, Neb. (PRWeb) July 23, 2020 – Financial Transmission Network Inc. (FTNI), a provider of industry-leading integrated receivables, payment processing, and cash application solutions, today announced that Sunday Breakfast Rescue Mission, the second oldest rescue mission in the U.S., has successfully launched its ETran Remote Deposit Capture (RDC) solutions, achieving new efficiencies  in the processing and posting of donation checks.

Originally founded in 1878 as Sunday Breakfast Association, the organization changed its name several years ago to reflect the expanded services it delivers as a Rescue Mission. Sunday Breakfast Rescue Mission, a non-profit organization, serves those experiencing homelessness in Philadelphia, PA. The Mission is the only provider of three meals a day, 365 days of the year to anyone in need. Additionally, the Mission has a 30-day men’s emergency shelter and offers a 12-month transitional housing program to men.  The Mission relies on the generous contributions of caring individuals, families, churches and businesses.

The launch of ETran’s advanced RDC module has helped Sunday Breakfast Recuse Mission to significantly accelerate the process of scanning checks and associated donation documents, electronically depositing those donations, and ultimately applying donations to donor accounts within its back-office donor management and accounting systems—all from a single, cloud-based platform.

“Donations are the lifeblood of any non-profit organization, especially when it comes to our mission of providing for the practical and spiritual needs of the hungry, homeless and hurting,” said Elizabeth Hefner, director of advancement, Sunday Breakfast Rescue Mission. “We needed the ability to not only process check-based donation payments faster, but also ensure that we are able to efficiently and accurately update our back-office systems so that we can maximize donor engagement and appreciation. ETran’s advanced RDC and back-office posting solutions have helped us to do just that.”

ETran’s highly-configurable, modular design allows organizations to efficiently tailor the platform to their unique business processes and workflows to modernize and automate payment processing and back-office cash application operations across all payment methods and channels, from a single Software as a Service (SaaS) platform. ETran’s agnostic, ‘plug-n-play’ nature works with existing banking and merchant processor relationships and supports efficient integration (batch or real-time) with any back-office system.

“FTNI has a proven history helping leading non-profit organizations modernize and accelerate the acceptance, processing and posting of donation transactions,” said John Karhoff, director of sales, FTNI. “We’re proud to be able to partner with Sunday Breakfast Rescue Mission to deliver game-changing RDC and back-office posting solutions to help streamline mission-critical donation processing operations within their organization.”
