Written by: FTNI Admin

OMAHA, NEB. – July 30, 2013 – Financial Transmission Network Inc. (FTNI), a provider of industry leading receivable management solutions, today announced plans to add mobile support to its industry leading receivables solution. ETran, FTNI’s SaaS based and PCI-compliant platform already processes Check21, ACH, Credit Card and Cash payments and donations will not add mobile device support to the platform.

In announcing their plans, Kurt Matis, CEO of FTNI indicated “Our strategy, from Day 1, has been to process and post all payments on a single platform. This latest announcement adds another channel to the current list of Mailed-In, Walked-In, Called-In and Web payments.” Chris Thompson, FTNI’s COO adds “we will initially support iOS and Android devices but will look to add other platforms as demand increases.” Set for a late Q3 Beta period with full availability in mid-Q4, FTNI already has had several existing customers express interest in participating in the Beta program. Matis goes on to say “Our initial deployment will include both mobile RDC and a mobile Bill Pay solution that will be able to provide invoice presentment and payment by either ACH or Credit Card. Both the RDC and the mobile Bill Pay module will be made available as stand-alone applications or they may be embedded in existing mobile applications to extend existing solutions.”

The addition of the mobile channel will continue to leverage ETran’s Receivables Platform, continuing the FTNI strategy that all receivables can be processed and posted from a single platform. This simplifies customer operations that revolve around the payments part of their business. All payment channels within ETran will continue to be bank and Credit Card gateway agnostic, allowing customers to make their own choices, as the changing business environment may demand.
