Home State Bank chooses ETran by FTNI for Remote Deposit Capture

Omaha, Neb. March 8, 2011 – Home State Bank has served the financial needs of Larimer County, Colorado for over 60 years.  While a complete menu of banking services and excellent customer service has enabled them to become the largest locally owned bank in the region, Home State Bank was looking to expand its payment offerings to its corporate clients through remote deposit capture, which would allow them to continue to expand their corporate customer base.

As with many financial institutions looking to upgrade their payment offerings, Home State Bank was looking for a solution that had several key success factors including: ease of implementation, flexibility of the different payment types and a reputation for outstanding customer service.  After an extensive RFP process, Home State Bank found that FTNI’s ETran platform exceeded its requirements in every area.

FTNI’s ETran platform incorporates remote deposit capture, ACH processing and PCI-compliant credit card processing on a single, user interface offered in a Software-as-a-Service (“SaaS”) environment to help clients reduce costs, accelerate timelines and improve transaction processing quality. This allows Home State Bank to eliminate the worries of hardware and software deployment, upgrades and maintenance and focus on their key mission statement; To build lasting, mutually beneficial relationships between staff, customers and community by delivering sound financial solutions and exceptional customer service

“During our RFP process, we reviewed/considered over a dozen remote deposit capture vendors and selected FTNI based on the outstanding functionality of their ETran platform as well as the ease of deployment,” said Audrey Ketchum, Vice President of Cash Management at Home State Bank.  "The flexibility of FTNI's ETran solution will allow us to quickly on-onboard a wide variety of our existing corporate clients as well as attract new business."

Kurt M. Matis, President of FTNI added, “Home State Bank’s mission of providing industry-leading technology as well as outstanding customer support mirrors the vision FTNI.  In addition, their long-term commitment to their customers in providing enhanced (the best?) products and services fits well with our…… Through the deployment of our ETran platform, they will be able to quickly allow their clients to scan and deposit checks (as well as ACH & credit card when they’re ready?), as well as offer back-office integration.  We’re excited about this partnership and look forward to our long relationship with Home State Bank.”
